Quality and Environment

The focus on quality, on continuously improving overall performance and the attempt to meet Customer needs and expectations and increase their satisfaction, has led Seasonalpha Lda – Engenharia e Construções, S. A. to invest in the implementation and certification of Quality Management Systems in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard, as a business strengthening and sustainability factor. This contributes to achieving economic objectives, which in turn gives the company the capability and means for other sustainability initiatives.

Seasonalpha Lda – Engenharia e Construções, S. A. has currently implemented Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) in three markets – Portugal, Algeria and Brazil –, with Angola undergoing an expansion phase. In Mozambique, this Management System is implemented in the subsidiary company Seasonalpha Lda – Engenharia e Construções (Moçambique), Limitada.

The management of environmental aspects at Seasonalpha Lda – Engenharia e Construções, S. A. incorporate specific processes that allow to minimize the main environmental impacts and contribute to the Sustainable Development.

In its activity, namely in the relationship with Partners and Customers, Seasonalpha Lda – Engenharia e Construções, S.A. encourages the adoption of solutions that improve the environmental performance of the buildings and infrastructures that it builds or rehabilitates.

The cross-company principles of action for employees of Seasonalpha Lda– Engenharia e Construções, S.A. in relation to the environment, which are laid down in the Code of Ethics and Conduct, take the form of the adoption of an Environmental Management System, which allows environmental risks to be effectively managed and contributes to the Company’s objectives.

ISO 14001 is a global benchmark for environmental management systems. Seasonalpha Lda – Engenharia e Construções, S.A. uses it to support its practices with a view to the continuous improvement of its environmental performance, through the incorporation of specific environmental risk identification and management processes.
